A family day out at Sandown Park offers great value – not least because admission is free to children aged under 18 when accompanied by a paying adult.
The racecourse provides a healthy environment for kids – fresh air, green grass, plenty of space – and the chance to get close to the horses and jockeys.
On many of our race days, we organise special complimentary entertainment for younger visitors. At our famous Tingle Creek meeting in December, for instance, there are sleigh rides, a Santa’s Grotto and carol singing. And for mums and dads looking for some quality adult time, we provide a free crèche for the under-fives, run by qualified staff and open on all Saturday race days.
We’re baby-friendly, too – you’ll find several baby changing and feeding areas around the racecourse.
On our Music Nights, there is a small fee. Children aged 0-9 years, tickets are £5. Children aged 10-17 years, tickets are £15. Children must be accompanied by a full paying adult.
