SANDOWN PARK OPENS IT'S DOORS

Sandown Park opened its doors to local businesses within the events community on Friday 2nd November, to showcase how this flexible venue can be utilised for events of all sizes and varieties. More than just a racecourse; Sandown Park boasts exhibition halls, conference suites, dining areas and some fantastic leisure facilities including golf, skiing and karting. Over 200 visitors passed through Sandown’s doors and enjoyed a buffet lunch and entertainment.
One lucky visitor won the prize draw of a Sony Plasma TV - Beverley Sturton, Chairlady for St John’s Friends of Chase Hospice Care for Children. Beverly, featured in the photograph, was thrilled to win the prise which was presented to her by David Mackinnon, Sandown Park’s Managing Director. Beverley said “ I am elated to have won this prize, the open day was a great opportunity for me to view Sandown Park’s facilities as I hold a number of fundraising lunches, art shows, balls and festivals - it’s great to know there is a venue that is able to accommodate all of our events. The open day was extremely well organised and the staff were very friendly and welcoming”.
