Toyota (GB) PLC entertained in style at Sandown Park with the help of Harry Potter. In conjunction with the release of Harry Potter’s latest film ‘The Order of the Phoenix’, Toyota enthralled their press and families with a fantastic Harry Potter fantasy filled adventure at Sandown Park. Guests were invited to watch the new film and celebrate in true magician style in a purpose built summer marquee. Evening entertainment included a banquet menu for Muggles, owl falconry, a magician and a bucking bronco broomstick competition. All guests and children had the chance to interact with the owls and learn about the art of falconry.

With plate spinning and broomstick competitions Sandown Park’s summer marquee proved to be the perfect setting for this annual event, according to Erica Haddon the Manager of Press Relations at Toyta (GB) PLC, “the marquees and decking area at Sandown Park provide a fantastic location for a summer event, with the option of both indoor and outdoor areas to entertain. The staff are very accommodating and friendly. Additionally the organisation of the event was handled very well with somebody always on hand to answer questions”. The bucking bronco broomstick was the highlight of this quirky event with teams of children and adults winning a range of Harry Potter merchandise including his wand and dvds. Guests enjoyed an unforgettable and magical evening and many left with some fantastic skills in witchcraft and wizardry.
