Girls Aloud have been the toast at Sandown Park Racecourse since the band’s appearance at the racecourse on Thursday 17 July 2008 was judged an overwhelming success and sold out a week before the gates opened.
A full house packed into the stands, to enjoy an evening of racing and an outstanding concert. Dressed in gold Julien MacDonald mini-dresses, Cheryl Cole, Nadine Coyle, Kimberley Walsh, Sarah Harding and Nicola Roberts performed over an hour of their top hits in front of the racecourse’s grandstand to a screaming crowd.
