Ho Ho Ho! Christmas comes early to Sandown Park for the betinternet.com Tingle Creek Day. Alongside top quality racing, which features the Grade 1 Keith Prowse Hospitality Tingle Creek Chase, there will be plenty of entertainment to get racegoers into the festive mood.
Traditional Horse and Sleigh rides will greet visitors from the train station to transport them to the racecourse to join in the festive fun where they will be welcomed by Father Christmas and his merry Sandown Park helpers! Walking into a winter wonderland, carols will be echoing across the racecourse along with a complimentary mince pie on arrival*.
As an extra special treat, this year a life size animatronic Polar Bear will be in the Esher Hall during the afternoon and childhood favourites from the popular Raymond Briggs' books, Father Christmas™ and The Snowman™, will be bringing even more Christmas merriment to the day. At the end of the day, the ‘New London Singers’, one of London’s premier vocal ensembles and conducted by the legendary Ivor Setterfield, will perform a range of festive carols.
