The second Music Night at Sandown Park Racecourse will feature the international music group Madness who will be performing live on Thursday 7 August 2008.
Madness, Britain’s most successful chart band in music history, have had twenty-one top-twenty singles in a seven year period from ’78-’86, and many more (over 30 in total), which include ‘It Must Be Love’, ‘Embarrassment’, ‘Baggy Trousers’, ‘My Girl’ and ‘One Step Beyond’. The band’s sound developed from their early ska routes, showing their love of Motown/Stax rhythms and three minute melodies almost ignored in Britain since the late 60’s.
Today, you can hear them everywhere: The Kaiser Chiefs, Franz Ferdinand, The Ordinary Boys and even in the clever knowing pop of Robbie Williams - Madness are all around us and now they're coming back, bringing Madness to the masses!
Come and experience them for yourself in the relaxing, summery surroundings of your favourite racecourse.

*Sandown Summer Sizzler offers less than five working days before the meeting will be for collection. Only one offer per booking. Booking fees will apply to those orders not completed via the internet. Advance booking discounts and offers close on 04.08.08 at 5pm. Thereafter on the day prices will apply to advance bookings.
Groups of 11 or more people will receive a 20% discount on entry only prices and a 10% discount on the Sandown Summer Sizzler offer. These must be booked in advance. Up to 15 tickets can be booked online. Larger groups need to book via the ticket office on 01372 47 00 47.
