Over £250,000 in prize money is up for grabs in races that include the Group II Blue Square Henry Stakes and the Group III Blue Square Brigadier Gerard Stakes.
Sri Putra will be heading to Sandown Park for the Blue Square Brigadier Gerard Stakes. He is a 6/1 chance with sponsors, Blue Square. Michael Jarvis, trainer of Sri Putra, commented: “The Blue Square Brigadier Gerard Stakes at Sandown Park has always been the target for Sri Putra since he won The Earl of Sefton Stakes at Newmarket last time out. He won the Solario Stakes as a two-year-old and so is already a course winner and has also won over the trip in Deauville. Sri Putra loves fast ground so we are hoping he gets it on the night; he is in great form and the Blue Square Brigadier Gerard Stakes on Super Thursday looks the perfect target for him.”
